Preparations are underway across Uzbekistan to ensure coal supplies to households during the 2026–2027 autumn-winter season. Under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 418, the system for supplying coal to the population is being improved, with private businesses also involved in the process.
In Namangan Region, efforts are being made to supply coal to households and meet the fuel needs of social infrastructure facilities.
A total of 11 business entities have been registered in the region and authorized to participate in exchange trading. These include Bek Kon LLC and Rovot-N LLC, which supply coal to residents of Uychi and Uchqo‘rg‘on districts.
Through the Uychi coal depot, 2,250 tonnes of coal have been delivered to budget-funded organizations, including educational and healthcare institutions. A further 24,050 tonnes of coal are planned for distribution to households, of which 1,100 tonnes were distributed over the past three days.
These efforts aim to ensure the timely supply of coal to households and social infrastructure facilities throughout the autumn-winter season.
