Collective Agreement Presented to Employees Across the Workforce
Publication date: 23.07.2026 12:33:36JSC “Uzbekcoal” continues to hold awareness events aimed at familiarizing employees with the content and significance of the new Collective Agreement for 2026–2028. One such event was organized on July 23 at the Company’s “Angren ko‘mir koni” and “Transport” branches with the participation of branch management, human resources representatives, and at the initiative of the trade union.
During the meetings initiated by the trade union, employees received detailed explanations about the Collective Agreement, including its newly introduced provisions, occupational safety requirements, social guarantees, additional benefits, financial incentives, and social support measures.
Specialists also provided comprehensive answers to employees’ questions, while participants shared opinions and proposals regarding the practical implementation of the Collective Agreement.
The Collective Agreement is an important legal instrument of social partnership between the employer and the workforce. It sets out key provisions aimed at protecting employees’ labour, socio-economic and professional rights, ensuring decent working conditions, strengthening occupational safety, and providing social guarantees and additional benefits.
These awareness events help ensure that every employee is fully informed about the rights and guarantees established by the Collective Agreement, while also contributing to greater openness in labour relations and the further development of social partnership.
For reference, the Collective Agreement for 2026–2028 was adopted on April 17 this year at the General Reporting Conference of the workforce of JSC “Uzbekcoal”. For the convenience of employees, the document was published as a separate book and distributed to the Company’s Executive Office and all its branches.
