A briefing dedicated to the results of anti-corruption activities for the first half of 2026 was held at JSC "O‘zbekcoal". The event was attended by Murodjon Abduraimov, Compliance Inspector of the Compliance Control and Anti-Corruption Service, who informed media representatives about the activities carried out during the reporting period and the results achieved.

It was noted that during the reporting period the Company consistently implemented measures aimed at preventing corruption, identifying conflicts of interest at an early stage, improving the internal control system, and ensuring openness and transparency.

In particular, more than 5,700 employees submitted conflict-of-interest declarations, all of which were carefully reviewed. As a result of the analysis, 14 potential conflict-of-interest cases were identified, and appropriate measures were taken to eliminate them.

In addition, cases identified through the "Masofaviy Audit" information system were examined, and the necessary organizational measures were implemented in accordance with the applicable legislation.

During the briefing, it was also emphasized that, in line with the implementation of the Presidential decrees and resolutions on combating corruption, the Company's compliance system has been further strengthened, the effectiveness of internal control units has been enhanced, and internal anti-corruption regulations have been fully introduced into practice.

It was reported that this year corruption risk assessments were conducted across 17 functional areas of the Company's central office and its eight branches. The assessment results were uploaded to the "E-anticor.uz" platform, and an action plan has been developed and is being implemented to mitigate the identified risks.

The Company also continues systematic work to ensure transparency in public procurement and contract management, improve recruitment procedures, verify counterparties, and enhance employees' legal awareness.

During the reporting period, 23 seminars and roundtable discussions on anti-corruption, conflict-of-interest prevention, and cybersecurity were organized, with the participation of 845 managers and employees.

At the end of the briefing, detailed answers were provided to questions from media representatives. It was emphasized that JSC "O‘zbekko‘mir" will continue its consistent efforts to strengthen anti-corruption measures, promote integrity, and ensure transparent corporate governance.
