During the first half of 2026, 262 appeals were received by JSC “Uzbekcoal”. This is 14 fewer appeals than in the corresponding period of the previous year, indicating a 5.1% decrease in the total number of appeals.
This information was announced during a briefing held on 15 July 2026 at JSC “Uzbekcoal” with the participation of Ne'mat Dushayev, Head of the Company's Information Service.
According to the briefing, the decline in the number of appeals is attributable to the improved efficiency of the system for working with citizens, the regular organization of outreach receptions, on-site examination of appeals, and the systematic implementation of preventive awareness and explanatory activities.
It was noted that the majority of appeals concerned issues related to social support, labor relations, wages, and the supply of coal products.
Specifically, the Company received 118 appeals regarding sponsorship and financial assistance, 61 appeals concerning labor relations, 35 appeals related to wage issues, 8 appeals regarding the supply of coal products, and 2 appeals concerning the actions of managers and other officials.
The briefing also emphasized that the Company continues to improve transparent and modern mechanisms for handling appeals. In particular, monthly open voice chats are organized on the Telegram platform, enabling responsible executives and specialists to respond directly to citizens’ questions in real time.
According to the information presented during the briefing, 224 appeals, or 85.8% of the total received during the reporting period, were resolved positively. Legal explanations were provided for 24 appeals, 1 appeal was reasonably rejected, while the remaining appeals were reviewed in accordance with the procedures established by law.
It was further highlighted that during the reporting period there were no violations of the statutory deadlines for reviewing appeals, nor were there any cases of appeals being left without consideration or removed from supervision without justification.
At the conclusion of the briefing, it was reaffirmed that JSC “Uzbekcoal” will continue its consistent efforts to further improve the appeals handling system, expand open dialogue with citizens and employees, and ensure that every appeal is resolved lawfully, fairly, and promptly.
