“Uzbekcoal” Celebrates Trade Unions Day with a Festive Event

On November 11, in celebration of Uzbekistan’s Trade Union Day, a festive event was held at the “Uzbekcoal” Joint-Stock Company. The ceremony took place in the hall of the “Construction and Installation Works” branch, attended by the company’s executive staff, trade union activists from the branches, and employees.
The event was opened by Abdunosir Qayumov, Chairman of the Company’s United Trade Union Committee, who warmly congratulated all participants on the occasion. Greetings were also delivered by Otkirbek Rashidov, Deputy Chairman of the Tashkent Regional Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan; Khurshida Rasulova, representative of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Energy, Oil & Gas, and Geological Workers; and Tolkinjon Abdujamilov, Head of the “Geological Exploration Expedition” branch. They emphasized the importance of trade unions in promoting the company’s development and protecting employees’ rights and interests, while recognizing the outstanding contributions of activists in the sector.
They also noted that trade unions form the foundation of labor honor and social justice, and that such events play a significant role in fostering team unity and promoting the value of work.
During the event, trade union activists from the company and its branches were awarded honorary certificates, letters of appreciation, and memorable gifts. Additionally, a concert program featuring the country’s artistic masters created a joyful and festive atmosphere for all attendees.
