The “Koinot” summer health camp, belonging to “O‘zbekko‘mir” JSC, has commenced its activities this summer season. On June 18, this facility welcomed over 220 children of miners.

“Koinot” is located in the Chetsuv village area of the Ohangaron district, along the road connecting our capital with the Fergana Valley. One side is mountains, the other side is endless fields, and below is a blue lake! A wonderful view! The camp area is also surrounded by trees and various flowers, providing shade and coolness...
This year, the camp has also been well-prepared for the season. According to Abdunosir Qayumov, the chairman of the united trade union committee, all necessary conditions have been created by the Society for the children to relax. Most importantly, there is clean air and refreshing cool water...
The camp will operate in four shifts this season, with plans to accommodate over 1,000 children of miners. Among the children, there are true enthusiasts. They are ready to spend the entire summer here. Because “Koinot” has a separate swimming pool for adults and children, sports fields, a summer cinema for events, a kitchen where delicious meals are prepared, and even a rich library.
Humoyun, the young son of Roza Rahmonova, an employee of the “Angren Coal Mine” branch, is one of the children coming to the camp for rest. His face shows confidence that exciting activities he likes will be held here. Humoyun intends to participate in various sports competitions, win, read books, and make new friends.
We hope that the camp director Dilfuza Normurodova and senior educator Madina Barakaeva will make even more efforts for the children to have a delightful rest. They and all their colleagues are very child-friendly and have sufficient experience. Especially Madina Barakaeva knows well the conditions of the camp and the nature of the children. She has been among the children here for 25 years.
