As previously reported, under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 4, 2026, “On awarding a group of employees of the geological sector on the occasion of the Day of Geological Workers,” a number of our compatriots were honored with high state awards.

Among the awardees is Ilhom Zayirov, a heavy-duty truck driver of the “Automobile and Technological Transport” филиал of JSC “Uzbekcoal”. He was awarded the “Shuhrat” Medal for his many years of dedicated service, commitment to his profession, and high sense of responsibility.

On April 6, a ceremonial award presentation took place at the executive office of the company.

During the ceremony, General Director N.U. Dusmatov presented the “Shuhrat” Medal to Ilhom Zayirov, noting that individuals who work честно and selflessly for the benefit of the country will undoubtedly receive well-deserved recognition. He also emphasized that this award represents not only an individual achievement but also a high appreciation of the hard work of all miners.

The event also featured speeches by Chairman of the Joint Trade Union Committee A. Qayumov, Head of the “Automobile and Technological Transport” филиал Q. Kusainov, and others, who congratulated the award recipient.

For reference, Ilhom Zayirov was born in 1980 in the city of Angren. After graduating from Secondary School No. 23, he obtained his driver’s qualification through the DOSAAF system. Upon completing his military service, he began his career at the “Automobile and Technological Transport” филиал.

He initially worked as an auto mechanic, then trained on a 30-ton BelAZ dump truck. After a year of mentorship under experienced наставник Ahad Hatamboyev, he started working independently.

Today, Ilhom Zayirov is a highly skilled driver with 23 years of experience, operating a 90-ton BelAZ truck. He is known for his responsibility and professionalism in transporting coal and rock materials.
