A meeting was held at “Uzbekcoal” JSC with a delegation of the People’s Republic of China headed by Mr. Liu Gosheng, Chairman of the Board of “China Coal Resources Development Co. Ltd.”

During the event, organized in the activity hall of the Central Dispatch Service of the “Angren Coal Mine” branch, the delegation representatives were provided with detailed information on the current state of production at the company, the equipment and technologies used, coal extraction processes, overburden removal operations, as well as the procedures for supplying coal to consumers.

The delegation members also familiarized themselves with the operations of the Angren coal mine. At the observation platform, they received information about the thickness of the coal seam, the area designated for overburden removal, accompanying rock formations and their reserves, the length and width of the mining site, technological transport, and the condition of internal and external dumps.

During the meeting, Mr. Liu Gosheng expressed gratitude for the ongoing cooperation with Uzbekistan’s mining industry, noting that the company’s delegation had visited the country three times and had always been warmly welcomed. According to him, the company is one of China’s major enterprises with extensive experience and expertise in the mining sector. It operates three open-pit and three underground coal mining enterprises under a combined mining system. The company’s annual coal production amounts to nearly 80 million tons.

It was also noted that the company has over ten years of experience in the development of dry coal beneficiation technologies, which are now being widely implemented in China. The delegation proposed dry beneficiation of high-ash coal accumulated in the company’s internal warehouses to supply higher-quality coal to consumers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to further enhance bilateral cooperation, jointly address issues at mining sites, and exchange practical experience.
